SIDEWALK WINS AWARD!

on Fri, 2010-10-01 19:19

Some local funding was available from Scarborough Borough Council this summer. The idea was that among 30+ applicants people had to decide which ones they thought were most deserving. "Who were these people?" I hear you say. Well - anybody who is willing to spend a lovely sunny day in the library listening to one presentation after another. To the absolute delight of Sharon and the team some of the young people came and represented Sidewalk in the appeal for funding! This being probably the most impressive argument for funding one could expect no doubt made such an impression on the voters that Sidewalk came very near the top candidate for funding! - Well done Sharon and the boys!
